An inquest looked into a man’s death. He was found at home after missing plans.

Anthony Kennedy died in North Shields. He was 40. This happened on September 4, 2024. He had depression, anxiety, and agoraphobia. This kept him home for years, the court learned.

He talked with his sister on September 1. They planned to meet the next day. She went to his house September 2. He didn’t answer. His sister found this normal. They often didn’t hear from him for days.

She returned September 4 with another sibling. They saw Anthony through a window. He was on the floor. He was in his bedroom. Police came with paramedics. They declared him dead there.

The inquest was Thursday. Anthony didn’t abuse drugs or alcohol often. He took some prescribed drugs, including an antidepressant.

It was found to be high in his system following tests after his death.

Anthony hoped for the future, the court was told. He didn’t say he wanted to hurt himself. This happened in recent years.

Coroner Thomas Crookes gave his conclusion. Anthony died from taking prescribed medicine.
