Former Newcastle youth worker Don Irving is grateful for North East donations of 200+ football shirts for kids in Zambia.

Don is from Liverpool but has lived up north for over 20 years. He used to be a youth officer, and now volunteers on a youth project board. Don wanted to help kids playing football in Zambia. He saw them running around with no shoes, so he asked if people could donate football shirts. He wanted to send the shirts to Zambia.
He visited a youth project near Lusaka. Kids there love football, especially the Premier League. Don wants them to play and enjoy the sport.
Don helps with different campaigns, and he even assisted with the refugee crisis. This Zambia project is his first focusing on that country. Zambia is a very poor nation where people live on very little money. Don will return to help the training program.
Don is grateful to the North East and is amazed by their kindness with shirts. He sends a big thank you to everyone who donated. He sends the shirts to Zambia soon. A charity will deliver the stuff to Lusaka. Don hopes to return and help the academy.
