Brian passed away at home on February 17, 2025. He was 61. He was Jayne’s husband and Scott and Sarah’s dad. John was his son-in-law. Brooke and Tyler were his grandkids. His brothers were Ronnie, David, and Gary. Stephen and Yvonne passed before him. The funeral is March 18 at Sugley Parish Church, followed by interment at Lemington Cemetery. Donations to Mind are welcome.
Alan died suddenly on February 9, 2025. He was 81. He passed at Ashton Court Care Home. Brian, Sheila, Betty, and Elsie were his siblings. He was a loving brother-in-law and uncle. The funeral is March 5 at West Road Crematorium. Donations to the British Heart Foundation are preferred.
John from Consett died on February 1, 2025. He was 81. Joan was his beloved wife. Jo-anne and Anna were his much-loved daughters. Elise and Amelie were his loving granddaughters. Paula and Elizabeth were his dear sisters. The requiem mass is March 3 at Our Lady and Saint Joseph RC Church. Donations to Parkinson’s UK are welcome.
Edna, from Gateshead, passed on February 8. She was 81. She died at home with family. She was Tom’s loving wife. Stephen and Jackie were her devoted children. Garry and Sara were her in-laws. Danny, Kristin, and Abby were her grandkids. Michael and Chris were her brothers. Friends are welcome at the service, March 5, at Saltwell Crematorium. Donations to Cancer Research UK are appreciated.
James (Jim) from Backworth died February 19, 2025. He was 91. He was Lorna and Margaret’s husband. Lynne, Linda, Elaine, Audrey, Colin, and Pat were his nieces/nephews. Linda was his loving step-daughter. The funeral is at Whitley Bay Crematorium, March 5. Donations are not needed. Refreshments follow at Cheviot View.
Charles of Killingworth died at home on February 9. He was 81. He was a loving husband and father, as well as a grandfather, brother and uncle. Everyone loved and respected him. The service is March 6 at St Bartholomew’s Church. Donations to RSPB are welcome.
A woman from Edinburgh (nee Adams) died peacefully at Northcare Suites, February 11, 2025. She was Campbell’s beloved wife, and had two daughters and two grandchildren. It will be a private funeral. Donations to MND Scotland are suggested.
Frank died peacefully, January 29, 2025. He was 90. He was at Haven Court Care Home. He was Alice’s loving husband. Chris and Laurence were his sons. Heather was his daughter-in-law. His grandkids were Amy, Sam, and Joshua. The funeral is March 4 at South Shields Crematorium. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society are welcome.
Brian, from Seahouses, passed suddenly, February 14. He was 84. He was Margaret’s loving husband. Sandra was his daughter. Tracey passed away before him. Joanne and Scott were step-children. Maysie of Lesbury died at home, February 21, 2025. She was 94. David, who passed before, was her husband. Alistair, Richard, and Andrew were her loving sons. Denise, Christine, and Linzi were her daughters-in-law. Matthew, Ben, Sam, Jacob, Holly, and Daniel were her loved grandkids. The funeral will be private.
Margaret Harrison (nee McMullen) died February 16, 2025. She was 84. She was at QE Hospital. Tommy, who passed before, was her husband. Viv, Christine, Thomas, and Robert were her much loved children. Nigel, Denise, Alison, and the late Tom were her children’s spouses. Lee, Laura, Jake, Jack, Alex, and Lauren were her loving grandkids. There are also two great-grandkids: Millie and Isla. Mavis was her best friend. Gail, Phil, Jillian and Mark are devited children. Charlotte and Lloyd, Alex and Shelby, Brett, Finlay and Lyra Grace are grandkids. Dennis, Maggie, Ken, Paul, Carolyn, Susan and Ritchie are his siblings. Ronnie’s had a private funeral at his request.
