Mexicali, a Holmfirth Tex-Mex restaurant, will open in the Packhorse Centre food court in Huddersfield this March.

Mexicali will open a new place there. The restaurant is based in Holmfirth and specializes in Tex-Mex cuisine. Expect a burrito bar and takeaway place opening in March.
Ian Braund owns Mexicali. He thinks the food court is excellent, especially with Danny Malin promoting the space. Malin, who travels and reviews takeaways, has done a good job.
Ian spoke about the Packhorse food hall and its large crowds. He’s excited about a rooftop bar opening this summer, with plans to open mid-March.
They will sell burritos and tacos, including birria tacos. You can order them online, with deliveries through Just Eat covering Huddersfield and nearby areas.
Danny Malin reviewed Mexicali earlier, calling it a “diamond.” Malin wanted them in the Packhorse, so he visited and invited them to join the food court.
The Rate My Takeaway food court has many choices. Some other places there are Pizza Pizza, Birria Boyz, Bobby’s Salt & Pepper, Hooyah, and Jay’s Desserts.
