Underwater team starts fresh search for Kevin McGuire, who vanished in Scotland in 1994 after leaving his home.

Kevin vanished December 31, 1994. He left his home in Stronachlachar after an argument. This village is in Perthshire, Scotland.
The group, Beneath the Surface, will search. They plan weekend searches next month and will use sonar. More searches are planned in May and September if needed.
Kevin was 27 and from Glasgow. His disappearance remains a mystery in Scotland. His mother, Anette McGuire, awaits news.
Beneath the Surface previously searched other lochs. They looked in Katrine, Chon, Ard, Arklet plus Inversaid Pier. This time, they will look further out.
The team leader, Phil Jones, spoke and wants to find Kevin to give his mum answers. Last year, his team found two missing men.
Phil says they always get family permission. He thinks Kevin likely drove into the water because the roads were dark and the weather bad. They will keep searching until they can’t.
Anette, Kevin’s mother, is 79. She hopes for closure for her family. This includes Paul, Kevin’s brother, 50, and Sharon, his sister, 51. The family still seeks answers.
Kevin wed Lisa five months before he vanished. They argued about New Year’s plans. Lisa reported him missing on New Year’s Day.
Police divers searched Loch Katrine, Loch Ard and Lomond years ago. They found no sign of Kevin’s green Saab. The car’s plate was F22 RAC.
Kevin left without his passport and took no money. His bank accounts remain untouched. He also left his tools and clothes.
In 2002, Lisa had Kevin declared legally dead. Police stated they will investigate any new leads in the case.
