A man has died after a disturbance outside The Watch House pub in Lewisham. Police are investigating.

The incident started with a disturbance on a busy street on Saturday night. Police think a man was attacked near the pub.
Police got a call about an assault at 8:39 p.m. They found a 63-year-old man hurt badly.
He went to a hospital but died there.
A 42-year-old man is now in custody and has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Police think the pub disturbance led to the attack.
Police said they are investigating the death and officers found the injured man. He had life-threatening injuries from the assault. The man’s family knows about his death.
