Woman rescued from waist-deep mud near Torpoint. Emergency teams freed her using rescue sleds and a winch.

Emergency services rushed there, including fire crews and coastguard search teams. Police officers from Devon and Cornwall, military police, along with a Hazardous Area Response Team all assisted.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service sent teams. Water rescue crews came from Plymouth, and firefighters from St Austell helped. More crews came from Saltash and Looe.
With the tide going out, coastguards and firefighters devised a plan. Using two rescue sleds, crews reached the woman trapped in the mud. A winch then pulled everyone back to shore.
Once safely back on land, the woman was taken care of by paramedics.
