Drug dealer Slickcliff, part of EncroChat operation, must repay £40000 after being caught in Spain and extradited.

Garforth used the handle “Slickcliff” to arrange cocaine, cannabis, and gun deliveries. He was active from March to July 2020 in Northwest England. Police noticed him after a van didn’t stop, leading to the seizure of a mobile phone linked to Garforth.
Following the seized phone, police searched his home, only to find he had already fled to Spain. Authorities then issued a public appeal for his arrest as part of a “Most Wanted” campaign. He was eventually found in Marbella, Spain in October 2022.
At the time of his arrest, Garforth was riding an e-bike. He resisted arrest when police approached, even riding into an officer before being apprehended. The arrest involved multiple agencies.
Following his extradition back to the UK, Garforth faced charges for drug and weapon conspiracies. A court sentenced him to nineteen and a half years in prison.
After his sentencing, police investigated his finances and found he made about £1.5 million. He still had over £40,000 in assets, including home equity and a motorcycle.
Garforth had to return the £40,331, and a court ordered him to pay it back on February 11.
