Irish mobster Cornelius Price rests in Rochdale with an extravagant headstone. Victims remain missing, presumed dead.

Price was involved in organized crime. He died on February 19, 2023, after a brain disease. Price was secretly buried in Rochdale two years ago. He likely fled to the UK around 2020 as violence grew in a Drogheda gang feud. He had family in Rochdale and Manchester.
His grave had many floral tributes calling him a ‘legend’ and ‘king’. Boxing gloves and vehicles made up wreaths. His grave lacked a headstone until recently, and now we see the headstone and statues. Stone lurcher dogs and a hare sit on the grave.
Price’s face is on a heart-shaped stone. Gold writing says “Our warrior, Simply the Best.” Stones show Price flexing in front of stairs. Bunches of flowers decorate the gravestone.
Price, age 41, caused chaos in Drogheda. People think he murdered Willie and Ana, who lived at Price’s compound. They planned to move on April 14, 2015, ten years ago. He may have thought they knew too much, including the Benny Whitehouse murder. Whitehouse died because of a drug dispute. Price denied any involvement in these killings.
The couple’s bodies might be in north County Dublin. Police searched bogland for them last November, but found nothing useful after four days. Willie’s father, Joe, hopes they’ll find the pair. He feels sure someone will give information so Willie and Anna can have a proper burial.
Price left Gormanston after Keane Mulready-Woods’ murder. His gang blamed Robbie Lawlor for it. Police think Lawlor killed Keane, age 17.
