Order aims to curb disruption in Middlesbrough town centre, ahead of King Charles visit to boost safety and event preparation.

Police want to support event preparation. They aim to cut crime and also want to boost public safety. People behaving badly will be removed, and they face arrest if they return.
This order lasts from 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursday, February 13. It affects areas near A66, Marton Road, and other streets. The included areas are marked on a map.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit. The public welcomes them at Centre Square. They attend events near the town hall and will meet important people.
Workers cleaned Centre Square on Monday. This preparation happened before the King’s visit. Photographer Terry Blackburn took some photos that include musician Mike McGrother.
Middlesbrough Council and Teesside University planned an event to entertain crowds before the royals arrive. McGrother will lead songs and poetry performances. His choir and band will play too.
King Charles’ visit is historic for Middlesbrough. His mother, Queen Elizabeth, visited in 1993. She opened Pallister Park then.
