A lot happened last month. Some criminals in Merseyside went to jail, including a David Lloyd attacker and Rikki Berry’s killers. Lee Harrison and even MP Mike Amesbury were also among those incarcerated. However, Amesbury won an appeal and was freed.

Teens shot at a rival revengefully. This incident occurred shortly after a fire at a relative’s home. Overall, fifty-two criminals from the area received prison sentences in February. Here are some of their stories.

Timmy Donovan, 40, ran a huge money laundering scheme involving drug trafficking money. He used Wavertree Car Centre for this purpose. Christopher Roper worked there and helped facilitate the scheme. James Vaughan and Arron O’Sullivan chased debts and arranged cash drops.

Taxi driver Paul Duncan and Kenneth Kean did deliveries. Donovan received fourteen and a half years in jail, while O’Sullivan received seven and a half years. Vaughan got four years and three months, and Roper was jailed for three years, ten months. Kean and Duncan each got two years, suspended.

Mark Harrison had indecent images of children. He also filmed people without consent and possessed extreme pornography. Harrison admitted his crimes and received two years in prison.

Jake Dearden was a heroin and crack cocaine supplier. Police found evidence of his dealing on his phone. The 26-year-old admitted his involvement; he also possessed criminal property and cannabis, resulting in a three-year and nine-month jail sentence.

Ryan Addy crashed his motorcycle while drunk. He admitted fault to the police. A pillion passenger subsequently suffered a broken neck. Addy admitted dangerous driving and drink driving, receiving thirty months in jail and a five-year driving ban.

Ewan Blair raped two women he had befriended and assaulted them sexually. The 21-year-old received an eight-year prison sentence. He will also serve two years on licence.

Gabrielle Dures drove drunk and crashed her car head-on into another vehicle. Passengers had begged her to slow down. Someone suffered life-changing injuries as a result of the crash, and Dures was sentenced to two years and eight months.

Mariyan Grudev raped a woman after stalking her. He had prior convictions for similar crimes. He nodded when labeled a “sexual predator” in court. Grudev received a life sentence with a 14-year minimum term.

Michael Ross ran an illegal chop shop. He stripped stolen cars for parts. Their total value was estimated to be around £150,000. Ross admitted handling stolen goods and received an 18-month jail sentence.

Stephen Ellison sent lewd messages online, believing he was communicating with a 13-year-old. In reality, he was corresponding with an undercover police officer. Ellison received 18 months for his crimes.

Elliot Ashton stabbed a David Lloyd employee. He then posted about the incident on Snapchat. He demanded a woman’s car to escape capture. Police arrested him wearing a stab vest, and he received six years and nine months.

William Rumsby made a comment on YouTube. Following this, police discovered images of child rape on his tablet. He also had prior convictions for similar offences. Rumsby received 28 months.

Daniel Bourne reversed into a police car after a high-speed chase. Bourne was jailed for ten months. Additionally, he received a 42-month driving ban.

Sian Banks helped smuggle drugs. She packaged 90kg of ketamine, which her boyfriend then transported. She also smuggled drugs through the airport. Banks received five years in prison for her crimes.

Michael and Jemma Edwards attacked two women at a pub in Liverpool. One woman suffered a severely broken jaw. Michael received two years. Jemma received a suspended sentence.

Alan Johnson sexually abused children years ago. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison for his crimes.

Jeffrey Bloxham dealt drugs using EncroChat. Police found 17kg of cocaine in his van. He was jailed for 17 years and four months.

Ryan Witter dealt heroin and cocaine. A phone found in his possession showed evidence of his drug sales. He was jailed for three years.

Nicholas Patrick raped and assaulted children. He claimed he was not a bad person. Patrick received nine years in prison.

Kai Buckney and Obakeng Sithole shot at a rival. They did this after an arson attack. Sithole received 14 years, while Buckney received seven and a half years.

Neil Jones abused his girlfriend. This began while she was recovering in the hospital after giving birth. He also stalked her using a fake account. Jones received thirty months.

Stephen Hughes broke into a takeaway twice. He stole cash, including on Christmas Day. Hughes received 13 months in prison.

Lewis Cheung shared indecent images on WhatsApp. Cheung received 30 months in prison for this offense.

Michael Smith, Adam Williams, and Connor Walsh murdered Rikki Berry. They were all convicted of the crime. Smith and Williams received life sentences with a 31-year minimum term. Walsh received life with a 30-year minimum term.

Jacob Cleaver and Jamie Turner were involved in a pub brawl. One man was stabbed during the fight. Cleaver received 14 months. Turner received eight months.

Peter Rimmer stole his ex’s dog and then proceeded to threaten her. Rimmer received two years and three months.

Sayed Miah raped a teenager in a park. He also threatened to kill her. Miah was jailed for 12 years.

Vincent O’Connor robbed a taxi driver. He choked the driver and stole his wages. O’Connor received four years and eight months for the robbery.

Emma Llewellyn smuggled cocaine into Jersey. She downplayed the crime, saying it was “just a bit of coke.” She was jailed for four and a half years.

Lee Harrison dealt heroin and crack cocaine. He kept drug paraphernalia in his mom’s room. Terence Rice was also involved in the drug operation. Harrison received five years, and Rice received five years and two months.

Leon Sherratt kept stealing. He was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison.

Mike Amesbury punched someone. He was initially sentenced to jail for the assault, but his sentence was later suspended.

Sean Marr harassed his girlfriend. He threatened to share compromising photos of her. Marr received 20 months.

James Garrity dealt drugs from an apartment. He received a four-year jail sentence for his drug dealing activities.

Logan Brown broke into a nan’s house while armed with a machete. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison.

Leon Burgess attacked an elderly man. Initially, he shook the man’s hand and then resumed the violent attack. Burgess was sentenced to three years and nine months.

George Welsh sexually abused a player. He tied him up while he was asleep. Welsh received eight years in prison.

Dao Guo smuggled drugs from Canada. A jury convicted him of the crime. Guo was sentenced to five years and ten months.

Terrance Stewart abused police officers. He threatened them with his dog. Stewart received eight weeks in jail.

Hannah Smith and Connor Morris attacked a neighbor in his flat. Smith received 43 months, while Morris was sentenced to 37 months.

James Hopkins repeatedly stole from Morrisons. He received a two-year sentence and a 10-year ban from the store.

Mason McLean, Dylan Tollitt, and Leroy Agath stole a motorbike. The victim sustained brain injuries as a result. McLean received six years and eight months. Tollitt received four years and four months. Agatha received three years.
