Firefighters arrived quickly after the crash, within four minutes of the 1:10 PM call. The fire service sent two fire engines and a search and rescue team to the scene.
The car stayed upright after the incident, and the driver was awake and able to breathe on his own. He walked out of the crashed vehicle. Firefighters secured the scene completely, and then police took over. The fire service left at 1:37 PM.
