New estate planned near Meadowhall shopping centre includes 88 homes, featuring flats and parking.

Sheffield City Council will decide by May 13. The plan includes a new estate on Tyler Street, featuring 88 new homes in total. They will construct four blocks of flats.
Two outer blocks have four floors each, while the two central blocks reach five stories. The building will include one and two-bedroom places. There will be 16 one-bed and 72 two-bed flats, making 160 beds available.
Each block’s ground floor will have parking, bike storage, plants, and bins. More parking will be inside and behind the site. The plan includes 90 parking spots, with four spaces for disabled drivers. The bicycle storage can hold 80 bikes.
The site currently lacks vehicle or foot access. They will create access from Tyler Street, including entries and exits for vehicles. Pedestrian gates and paths will also be added.
