Okay, so some stuff went down at a shopping center. About twenty people with masks caused trouble at Salford Precinct. It all happened very fast. They scattered when police showed up at the scene.

Police looked at lots of security camera footage later. They think several crimes happened that night, and people got hurt. These attackers used stolen fire extinguishers as weapons. People damaged cars and even jumped on them. The group stole items from a grocery store and threw those items at buses.

Also, they set trash cans on fire. More shoplifting and damage occurred as well. Signage got smashed. This all happened on Monday, January 27th.

Police only got one phone call about it, which came in at 6:30 PM. The police didn’t know how bad it was until later, after watching the security video. Police identified three main people from that evening.

Police say people aren’t reporting crime enough there. They want residents to report anything like this by calling 101 or reporting online. Reports can be anonymous, so you don’t have to give your name. Police keep your info private.
