Greater Manchester boasts eight winners at the Nation’s Curry Awards 2025, celebrating the UK’s best curry restaurants.

The awards honor hard work and recognize talent in the curry industry. Categories ranged from chefs to vegetarian options. Furthermore, the awards also promote curry culture and encourage growth in the industry.
Original Third Eye won “Best of Manchester.” It is a Didsbury restaurant serving Indian, Nepalese, and Chinese food. The team said they were beyond thrilled and thanked their team and customers.
Afghan Cuisine’n’Grill won Afghani Restaurant of the Year. They are located in Bolton. Royal Balti House, also in Bolton, won Best Team of the Year.
The Great Kathmandu won Nepalese Restaurant of the Year. Gopal Dangol and his wife founded it, opening in 1986. This restaurant sits in West Didsbury.
Aroma Lounge, located in Wigan, won Outstanding Curry of the Year. Little Lanka, in Stockport, won Sri Lankan Restaurant of the Year.
Sanskruti Restaurant won Vegetarian Restaurant of the Year and is based in Manchester. Tiffin Xpress, situated in Prestwich, won Customer Service of the Year.
