A burst pipe forced the closure of a Manchester bar, disrupting a club night and causing water damage.

The leak happened on Saturday morning around 2:30 AM. Staff asked everyone to leave during a club night because the water pipe was leaking above the dance floor.
A video surfaced on TikTok showing water falling on people. The DJ apologized in the video, explaining the need to leave because of safety.
Stonegate Group, which runs The Brewers (the bar replaced KIKI and VOID in 2020), stated the damage was caused by dancers. Two women dancing on a booth pulled the pipe, causing the damaging leak. The downstairs area closed, and workers fixed the pipe Sunday morning; the bar is now open again.
The TikTok video went viral, with over 18,000 views. The caption expressed a desire for “Attitude” night to return, and people joked about the leak in the comments.
Some clubbers booed when asked to leave. The DJ responded humorously, thanking the understanding people.
