A big fight broke out in Kensington. It happened on Thursday, February 27. Cops arrested seven people afterwards.

The fight started around 10 pm. A 31-year-old man got stabbed in his leg. He went to the hospital.

Police arrested seven men at the scene. Their ages range from 18 to 38. They suspect them of assault and weapon possession.

Three men (29, 19, and 31) face more charges. These include Section 18 assault and affray. One 18-year-old faces similar charges. Two other men, 31 and 24, face affray charges.

The police had a cordon on Edge Lane, near Toft Street and a clinic. One person saw blue lights flashing and thought it was a car crash.

Today, police searched the grassy area around 11 am, looking for clues meticulously. The cordon stayed in place.

Police want witnesses to come forward and share doorbell or dashcam footage. The fight was seen by drivers.

Chief Inspector Rannard is asking for help, stating that they are early in the investigation and will review CCTV footage. The incident occurred at Holt Road and Edge Lane; many people saw it.

Callers were upset by the event. Police take this seriously, he stated. If you know anything, contact the cops; check your CCTV and doorbell camera. Even small things can help a lot.
