A man was shot in Walton after a child was seen near the area. He sustained non life threatening injuries.

A dark car stopped beside a man near the shop. This happened around 9 PM. The man walked over and peeked inside the car’s window. Then, a passenger in the back opened the car door, firing a gun at the man.
He turned around and ran away quickly as the car sped off. The man who got shot went to the hospital himself. He was shot in the butt, but luckily, the injury isn’t life-threatening. Police are investigating the incident.
Officers checked the area for clues this morning, looking at CCTV and talking to people nearby. Cops want to find the shooter, driver, and other passenger. The police increased patrols to calm worries in the area.
