A man in his 40s was shot on Altcross Road in Croxteth, Liverpool. Police have cordoned off the area and are investigating.

The shooting occurred Friday night just after 10:10 PM. The man, who is in his 40s, went to the hospital because of the shooting, officials stated. Police started investigating the incident.
Locals heard a “bang” during the night. Dog walkers couldn’t pass Altcross Road this morning. Police taped off the road near Moss Way, near the Lobster pub and the sports centre.
The police said his injuries are not deadly and they want to find those who shot him. Detective Inspector Joanne Jacob spoke about the event and urged anyone near Altcross Road at 10 PM to share information.
