A man was shot and killed in West London. The court heard some details on Monday. Janayo Lucima, 21, died from a gunshot to the chest. Mohamed Mansaray, 18, allegedly shot him. Prosecutors say it was a planned execution.

Khuder Al Kurdi, 22, organized it nearby. They believe eight others helped Mansaray. Two are now in Somalia and Libya. They are avoiding prosecution.

Mansaray, Al Kurdi, and six others face trial. They are accused of Lucima’s murder. Alan Gardner KC said Mansaray waited outside Lucima’s house. Al Kurdi called Lucima, luring him out. The shooting happened on April 1, 2024. It was on Comeragh Road in Barons Court.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 PM. CCTV footage captured the event. The gun used in the shooting is missing. Al Kurdi is suspected of finding the weapon. He supposedly played a key role in the plan.

Al Kurdi and Mansaray pleaded not guilty to murder. Muktar Said, 23, also denies the charges. Issa Siteri, 19, denies the charges. Yusuf Abdi, 19, and Pharrell Cowans, 18, also deny the charges. Two 17-year-old boys deny the charges as well. The trial is ongoing at the Old Bailey.
