A car crash happened near Warrington. It occurred on Southworth Lane, between Winwick and Croft, at 7:15 AM on February 19.

Emergency responders went to the scene. Police, paramedics, and firefighters all arrived. Witnesses also reported seeing an air ambulance. Two cars crashed into each other.

Firefighters freed a driver from a car and took him to a hospital for immediate treatment. Cheshire Police shared some details, confirming that the crash involved two cars.

One man went to Salford Royal Hospital with serious injuries. The police closed the road, and two fire engines went to the crash site; one from Warrington, and another from Birchwood.

Southworth Lane is still closed between Delph Lane and Smithy Brow. Inrix says traffic is heavy nearby. Firefighters reported more details, specifying the crash location as Winwick.

Police closed the road so crews could work. Firefighters removed a car door, gave first aid to the injured person, and made both wrecked cars safe.

The paramedics took the injured person to a hospital. Police now handle the situation.
