A man was seriously injured and rescued from Swanswell Pool in Coventry. Police and medics responded to the scene.

Medics from West Midlands Ambulance Service quickly helped on the edge. Fire crews also stood by just in case.
A spokesperson said the man was in serious condition. They gave him treatment at the scene before taking him to University Hospital Coventry by ambulance.
Police were called about someone in the water at Swanswell Park on Stoney Stanton Road at 8:36 PM last night, Sunday, February 9th. An ambulance, paramedics, a critical care car, and the Air Ambulance Service car all responded to the scene.
Crews found the man already rescued, but in serious condition. They continued treatment and transported him to University Hospital Coventry.
