A guy got charged after a stabbing in Chelmsford. Detectives charged a 20-year-old. He faces charges of both attempted murder and knife possession.

Police went to Meadgate Avenue quickly after a report on Wednesday evening, February 12, about a seriously hurt man. Emergency responders arrived within seven minutes.

The injured man went to the hospital fast. Essex Police told EssexLive that the victim was stabbed, and his injuries are not expected to be fatal.

Albie Tricks, 20, is from Eglinton Drive, Chelmsford. He is charged with attempted murder and also faces a charge of having a knife. He will be in court Friday, February 14.
