Hey, listen to this. A man in Birkenhead got pushed from his wheelchair. It happened on Canning Street last Friday, January 17th, between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm.

The man is in his 50s. Three white men, around 18 to 20 years old, pushed him and then took off with the wheelchair towards Argyle Street.

The man wasn’t physically hurt but was very upset. Police are looking for witnesses as the road is usually busy with traffic, hoping someone saw something.

Detective Constable Steve Williams called it an appalling incident. Police are trying to find the three men and believe drivers might have seen something.
