Police seek man after a woman was followed in Middlesbrough. Incident occurred near Parliament Road on February 10th.

A search is on for a man. It follows a worrying event involving a woman being approached and followed.

The incident happened February 10th near Parliament Road in Middlesbrough town center, around 12:05 pm. The man asked the woman to be friends, then he followed her home.

On January 15th a similar event was reported near Teesside University’s campus, around 5:05 pm. The woman saw the man again between 12:20 pm and 12:30 pm near Tennyson Street and Parliament Road.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, about six feet tall, in his early 20s with short black hair. He wore dark clothes and silver trainers. Police are patrolling the area.
