Planner of Richmond jewelry store heist, linked to a worker’s suicide, has been convicted.

The robbers tied up Oliver White, who was 27, and they put expensive watches in a rucksack. Police used CCTV to identify the car they used. The footage showed the suspects arriving.
Police linked two men to three others, believing these others planned the robbery. Oliver died the day after it occurred, and an inquest will happen later. His death was not suspicious.
Detective Sergeant Hollands spoke about Oliver, saying Oliver was in their thoughts. They wanted justice for his family, and he stated that robbery has bad effects on victims.
Mannix Pedro, 37, was found guilty of conspiracy at Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday, February 19. His sentencing will occur later. The jury could not agree on another suspect, so the case will get a re-trial.
Oliver’s mom, Amy Keane, gave a statement, saying Oliver was a great person who made people happy. He was extremely kind and caring, she explained, and Oliver deeply loved his family.
Oliver wanted a good future; he planned to buy a house and wanted a family. He worked hard to achieve his goals. His mom stated that he was honest and trustworthy.
The family felt he was not involved in the robbery, and they think the conviction proves this belief. They are extremely sad about Oliver’s death, and their lives are forever changed, she said.
