A 55 year old man died weeks after a three-vehicle accident on the M60 near Denton Island. Police investigate both the crash and the death.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of the three-vehicle crash. The incident occurred around 10:25 a.m. Two cars waited at lights on the exit slip road at junction 24, clockwise.
A third vehicle drove down the slip road and hit the back of one car. That initial impact caused the car to then hit the car in front. All drivers stopped following the collisions. Police made no arrests at the scene.
However, on February 27, the 55-year-old driver of the car that started the crash died at home. Police are now investigating his death alongside looking into the initial collision.
