Man’s body found on M5 after arrest. Police investigate non-suspicious death amid online sting fallout. Family notified.

Police found the man’s body between junctions 20 and 21. Junction 20 is at Almondsbury Interchange, near the M5. Junction 21 is near Awkley.
The police arrived around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday and closed the road completely to investigate. His family knows about his death.
Police think the man was in his 40s. Witnesses said he fell from a height and was then hit by cars. This happened between junctions 20 and 21.
Police investigated and do not think the death is suspicious. They are helping the man’s family and ask people not to guess what happened, respecting their privacy.
Police said the man had been arrested earlier after an online group accused him of crimes and broadcast it on social media. He died hours later, according to reports.
The police contacted the IOPC because they had dealt with him before. The online group told people to respect his family and asked for privacy to grieve.
