A 37 year old man died in a flat fire in Dunbar. Forensics are investigating the High Street scene.
Firefighters got called to the fire which happened on High Street in Dunbar at 5:55 PM on February 6th. Police and ambulance workers also showed up, but a 37-year-old man died at the scene.
Forensic teams are at the flat now, looking for clues about the fire, and a fire service line is still up.

Police reported the fire occurred on February 6th around 5:55 PM in a flat on High Street, Dunbar. Upon arrival, emergency services found the 37-year-old man dead, and his family has been informed.

Four fire trucks responded to the scene, and firefighters worked to extinguish the fire in a flat within a three-story building, where tragically they discovered the deceased man.
The fire service extends its thoughts to the family, friends, and the entire community affected by this incident, and they are conducting a joint investigation with the police.
