A man died at a Birmingham train station. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Emergency services responded to the incident. Paramedics arrived at the station and found a man on site. Sadly, they could not save his life.
Police do not think the death was suspicious, and they will prepare a file for the coroner. This is standard procedure in these situations.
Train services faced cancellations due to this incident. The Cross City North line, which runs from Birmingham to Lichfield, stopped running. Services from Birmingham to Hamstead, via Aston, were also affected.
The ambulance service responded quickly, getting the call around 2:18 PM for a location near Duddeston Mill Road. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the Hazardous Area Response Team arrived. Sadly, the man died at the scene.
British Transport Police went to Duddeston station in response to a report about someone on the tracks around 2:15 PM yesterday. Paramedics also attended, and a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not suspicious.
