Man Dies After Three Car Crash Close to East Lancs Road
Emergency services went to Chaddock Lane’s junction, near Worsley. The incident happened around 4:30 PM when a Citroen C3 hit a parked Toyota Rav 4 at traffic lights. A third car, a Renault, was also hit.
The Citroen driver, who was in his 60s, was quickly transported to the hospital. Sadly, he died because of a possible medical issue, while people in the Toyota and Renault did not get hurt.
Police are requesting information from the public regarding the crash incident, believing it happened around 4:20 PM. The Citroen was driving toward Worsley when it crashed into the Toyota.
The police investigation continues as they look for relevant dashcam footage, CCTV, or doorbell video from around the time of the crash.
