Hey, I read something pretty serious. It happened during a drug raid in Bristol. This was on James Street in St Werburghs. Police officers had a warrant to search the place last Wednesday. They arrested one person there.

The charge was possessing a class B drug. Then, another person at the property got sick. Someone called for an ambulance right away to help him. Sadly, that second person passed away later.

Police don’t think the death was suspicious. Still, they reported it to a special office. It investigates deaths after police get involved. They must do this by law. The police had a warrant to search the house. It was under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

This person is now out on bail. The other occupant became ill as they searched. An ambulance responded. It’s terrible; he died. His family knows and is grieving.

The police contacted the IOPC because of the death. They will look into what happened during this event.
