A man in his 50s died after a lorry hit him in Sunbury this morning. Police closed the A316 and part of the M3, and investigated the area early this morning.

Someone reported the accident around 1:56 a.m. The man died at the accident location, and police told his family. Surrey Police gave this information.

Police haven’t arrested anyone yet, but have started an investigation. They want people who saw the accident to come forward with any related video footage, including CCTV and dashcam recordings.

A Surrey Police person spoke about the crash, which happened on the A316 in Sunbury. Police got a call around 1:56 a.m. mentioning a lorry hitting a person. Sadly, the man died at the scene.

His family now knows about this news. The investigation is still progressing, and police have not made any arrests. They want to talk to any witnesses.
