A man in his 40s died on the M4 this past weekend after falling from a height onto the road. Witnesses reported that vehicles then struck him.

Emergency services arrived around 6:40 PM on Saturday, February 22, between junctions 20 and 21. Police closed the road to investigate the incident.

Police do not believe the death to be suspicious and are supporting the man’s family. Because police had contacted him before, they notified the IOPC.
