A man has died after being struck by an ambulance on the A96. Police in Moray, Scotland, have launched an investigation.

The accident occurred early this morning. He was walking on the A96 at Barmuckity, east of Elgin, in Moray. The ambulance rushed him to a hospital, but he died soon after arrival.
The road closed for almost ten hours, reopening around 1:20 PM today. Police Scotland started an investigation to determine what happened.
