Stephen Wright, 36, faced court after a nightclub fight at Leicester’s Fan Club, resulting in community service.

Officers saw a fight on the CCTV screens. They pulled Stephen Wright, 36, off someone. His face was covered with blood. Wright admitted to threatening behavior in court. This charge can mean three months in jail.
The court date was February 19. The prosecutor spoke about the February 2 incident. Door staff warned police about a possible fight. Police saw men fighting on video.
They found Wright on top of another guy. They pulled him away and saw blood. Earlier footage showed Wright arguing. He then started punching.
Wright didn’t talk to police about it. His lawyer said Wright had past offences. However, he had not broken the law for twelve years. The lawyer said Wright now has three children.
He said Wright blamed alcohol for his actions. He rarely goes out or drinks too much. The court chairman said he was also disappointed. Wright was back in court after a long time.
The court gave Wright community service. Wright must do 80 hours of unpaid work. He also had to pay court costs of £85. Wright also paid a £114 victim fee.
