The cops got a call about a sudden death way back on June 24th last year. Paul Ainscough, aged 57, died. They found him inside a house near Chorley center. Now, a man got charged because of Paul’s death.

Liam Slack, aged 34, faces a manslaughter charge. He lives on Langton Brow in Eccleston. They released him on bail for now. He goes to court on March 13th. It’s at Preston Magistrates Court.

Police said they charged a man following the death from last June. Officers went to Hollinshead Street after a report that mentioned a sudden death there. That was June 24th in 2024, they said. Sadly, they discovered Paul Ainscough’s body there.

He was 57 years old back then. Remember they wanted to talk to some folks? These people were at the Stag pub earlier on Worden Lane in Leyland. They were there June 22nd. Police talked to legal folks before the charge.
