A man faced charges after a bad attack. It happened at a Glasgow train station. The victim is lucky to still be alive.

Daniel Dolan, aged 53, suffered injuries. His face had fractured bones, and his shoulder was also dislocated. The attack occurred on February 21 at Possilpark train station. Medics took Daniel to a hospital fast.

Police arrested a 41-year-old man, as confirmed by the British Transport Police. The man appeared in court on Tuesday and faces a serious assault charge connected to the train station attack.

Daniel’s face had broken bones, and his shoulder got dislocated. A kind person helped Daniel after the attack. This person found Daniel on the platform floor and then contacted Daniel’s family.

His niece, Sheryl, is 36. She rushed to the station quickly. Sheryl spoke about that day, explaining her mom learned he fell, at first.

Sheryl raced to the station herself. Police said it was a crime scene. That’s how she knew he was attacked.

The police were truly helpful that day, giving first aid and warming him. An ambulance was delayed for hours, so police drove Sheryl and Daniel to the hospital.

Daniel has COPD and brittle bones, so his health is not very good. Sheryl said things could’ve been worse and thinks her uncle will recover despite the severe injuries he had.

A police spokesperson said a man appeared in court, facing a serious assault charge. The charge relates to the February 21 attack that happened at Possilpark station. The man got released on bail later.
