A man has been charged after a disturbance in East Kilbride led to a car crash; police investigate further.

Police arrested a 41-year-old man and charged him after the disturbance. It occurred on Lochranza Drive in the Lindsayfield area. He will go to court later.
The police are also looking for other people as they are investigating the incident. This happened the day after the disturbance occurred.
A local woman, Pauline Jones, heard sirens and was startled by the noise. She spoke about the event.
The woman said it’s normally quiet there and nothing unusual happens. She stated police came suddenly that afternoon, and the sirens were very loud.
Police taped off half the street, and several police cars parked there. Detectives investigated outside but did not explain things to locals, keeping people from leaving the area.
Police responded to the disturbance report that took place around 11:40 AM on Thursday, February 6, on Lochranza Drive.
The 41-year-old man was arrested and accused of involvement, he will appear in court. Police are working to find others involved, and a report goes to the Fiscal.
