Okay, so here’s the story. Police made three arrests related to a possible robbery. It happened on Sunday, February 9th, around 9:25 AM. This involved a house near Smithdown Road.

Someone reported a van backing onto a driveway. People inside then damaged CCTV cameras and also tried entering the house. Police sent details of the van to officers.

The police spotted it heading out of town via Edge Lane. Traffic police stopped the van on the M62, near Burtonwood Services. Police dog Zargo helped, and the van had fake license plates too.

Police arrested three men, suspecting them of attempted burglary. One man is 41, from Bradford, another is 32, from Leeds, and the third is 39, from Rotherham.

The police took them in for questioning and later released them on bail. Further investigation will happen. A police inspector praised the crime prevention measures, which helped them catch the suspects fast.
