They will repair concrete on the M54 over eight weekends. Expect closures on this Midlands motorway to allow for safer, smoother journeys. The work zone is between junctions two and four, with work starting in late February.

Full weekend closures are necessary for safety. To facilitate this, the road closes Thursday nights before work begins. Closures start at 8 PM Friday and end at 6 AM Monday, allowing the concrete to set properly.

Traffic is typically lighter on weekends to minimize the impact of the closures. Only one side of the M54 will be closed at a time. Authorities are actively managing local road traffic, and have adjusted signal timings to accommodate increased volume.

These roadworks may cause travel delays. Officials have thanked drivers for their patience. Follow signed diversions during the work, using Castle Farm Way, A5 Watling Street, A449 Stafford Road, and A41 Newport Road.
