Gang guilty of stealing luxury SUVs and motorbikes in multiple raids across the West Midlands, resulting in £1M losses.

The group stole luxury SUVs, cars, and motorbikes. Jason O’Farrell, Kian O’Shea, and Deacon Cumberbatch were involved. Tyrone Henn and a younger guy were also involved. They stole and resold vehicles in Coventry.
They did car key burglaries and carjackings too. Police charged them with 47 separate crimes. Coventry police did a big investigation, looking at social media and phone messages to help them find the culprits.
The group posted videos and photos of their stolen vehicles online. Henn complained about the money he got, feeling shortchanged after one theft where he only got £400 from a £2,000 split.
The group even contacted theft victims, offering to sell back the stolen cars. Police arrested all five in 2023 and 2024.
O’Farrell, O’Shea, and the young man pleaded guilty. Cumberbatch changed his plea to guilty as well. Henn did not plead guilty, but the court convicted him on February 12. All five will be sentenced in March, and police recovered 24 stolen vehicles.
Police stated these men were top Coventry offenders whose crimes had a big impact on victims. The victims suffered financially and emotionally. The police noted the group’s brazen attitude and are proud of securing this outcome, as removing them sends a message about vehicle crime.
