The massive 103 meter Ulysses, owned by New Zealands richest man, docked at Plymouth Sound, drawing crowds to Barbican.

Yacht magazines say it’s their fourth largest build. It has tons of glass—1,100 square meters! This includes doors, windbreaks, and large window panels that line main deck guest rooms.
The superyacht also has four hot tubs outside. A swimming pool spans the main deck’s full height. Plus, it keeps a helicopter in a hidden hangar! Inside, there’s both a glass staircase and an elevator in the grand atrium.
It can hit 18 knots. It goes 5,000 nautical miles at cruising speed, powered by two MTU diesel engines. It holds 20 guests in nine rooms plus 30 crew. Its gross tonnage is 2,999, and the beam width measures 15.5 meters.
The yacht sailed in Norway in May 2024 for its first trip and then it was given to Graeme Hart. He helped make all building decisions. Sinot Yacht designed it all, both the outside and inside.
Reports say only 71 yachts are longer than 100 meters. This one cost $250 million! It costs $20-30 million yearly to run. Other cool yachts visited Barbican last year, including Le Dumont-d’Urville, which was there last September. ‘21.12’, a unique yacht, also came in October.
Espen Øino, a designer from Norway, designed ‘21.12’ and Damen Yachting made it in the Netherlands. A sleek yacht named Santosha showed up later, amazing people by Commercial Road. It is 56.7 meters and, after that, it sailed to the Caribbean!
Graeme Hart left school early. He built a big business empire, and his Rank Group owns global businesses. These companies work in packaging, consumer goods, and construction supplies.
Two of Hart’s U.S. companies made lots of money last year, earning $9.2 billion combined.
