A £15m care home with luxe features like dining, concierge & cafe is planned for Hexham by Hadrian Healthcare.

Hadrian Healthcare has built homes in the North East for 20 years. People know them for hotel-like service. They have salons, chefs, and even chauffeurs. Some places feature hydrotherapy and cinemas.
This company recently sold homes for £50 million. Now, they want to build in Northumberland. Their first luxury care home will be in Hexham.
They made a deal to buy land in Hexham. This starts their next plan. They will design a home for older people. They plan to apply for permission soon.
Ian Watson said they plan to apply soon. The site is good to build a “Manor House.” It will offer great care in Hexham’s area. They know Hexham needs high-quality care.
They feel this site works well for their plan. The building will look like a manor. It will sit in pretty gardens. People will enjoy suites with bathrooms. It will have a cafe, dining, and concierge.
They hope to start building this year if approved. They will invest about £15 million. This shows they want to offer top care.
Hadrian Healthcare is growing into new areas. They own homes in Gosforth and Whickham. They designed homes in Roundhay and Skipton, but sold them.
Watson set a record in 2019 selling five homes. Aviva paid over £100 million. This sale took over a year. It set a high price per bed. Watson has done four buyouts worth over £230 million.
