Former Manchester student Lucy Harrison, 23, was shot in Texas. The shooting happened on January 10th and has been ruled a homicide.

An inquest started on February 12th at Warrington Coroners Court. The report says she was shot with a gun. Her mom and boyfriend gave tributes, saying Lucy thrived in life and had a great capacity to love.
The autopsy confirmed the gunshot wound. The report states another person fired the shot, and Lucy tested negative for drugs and alcohol. She died at the Texas medical center shortly before 4 PM.
Her dad, Kris Harrison, lives in Texas and has Southport family. Police shared the family’s tribute, stating Lucy loved life fully and wasn’t afraid to feel everything. Lucy loved and was loved deeply.
She loved traveling and new cultures, but she also loved being home. She liked pajamas and her candles. Sometimes she was dramatic, other times, Lucy was straight-talking. Her family is heartbroken by her loss.
