Fire at celeb hotspot Chiltern Firehouse, London, requires significant repairs. Guests and staff safe; cause under investigation.

About one hundred people left the hotel. The fire started in some ducting and went from the ground floor to the roof, spreading up the building.
Firefighters arrived from several stations, with crews coming from Euston, Soho, and Paddington. West Hampstead and other stations also helped; the fire brigade was called around 2:52 PM.
Twenty fire engines went to the hotel, and about 125 firefighters worked hard. They stopped the fire from spreading, and the fire was under control by 8:07 PM. Firefighters stayed to put out hotspots.
The hotel is four stories tall, and a restaurant is on the ground floor. Smoke came out of the windows as the cause of the fire is being checked.
Many celebrities visit the hotel, like Tom Cruise and Lady Gaga. The hotel might need a lot of repairs, but the owner said everyone is safe and thanked the staff and guests.
