London Underground Line Suspended, Other Lines Face Delays

Hey, just wanted to give you a heads-up about London transport. It’s going to be rough this Saturday, March 1st. Several lines have delays and suspensions today.

The Central line is shut down between North Acton and West Ruislip due to planned engineering. Buses are running as replacements there, and your tickets work on London buses. There are also bad delays across the whole line after a signal problem at Liverpool Street.

The Circle line is completely stopped because of a points failure at Edgware Road. Your tickets work on nearby local buses to complete your journey.

The District line is closed between Earls Court and Kensington Olympia, with replacement buses running on that part. The District line also has no service between Barking and Upminster.

C2c trains won’t run between Barking and Upminster this weekend. A Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness service runs via West Ham, Barking, and Rainham stations. Replacement buses are also in the area.

The District line has no service from High Street Kensington to Edgware Road while workers fix a points failure. The same points failure occurred at Edgware Road.

The DLR isn’t running between Poplar and Stratford International, nor between Beckton and Woolwich Arsenal. Use Elizabeth line services between Custom House and Woolwich. Replacement buses are also available if needed.

The Metropolitan line has minor delays between Moor Park and Amersham, where a points failure at Amersham is being fixed. The rest of the line reports good service.
