London transport costs are going up soon, folks. Expect fare hikes on the Tube and trains. The price changes start this week, from March 2.

Adult fares are likely to rise by 4.6 percent. Kids usually pay half the adult price. This affects the Tube, Overground, and Elizabeth line. National Rail commuters also pay more.

The daily Zone 1 cap goes up to £8.90. A daily Zone 1 Travelcard will cost £16.60 now. Peak hour journeys in Zone 1 increase to £2.90.

Off-peak fares rise to £2.80 then. Single zone fares outside Zone 1 will also change. Expect to pay £2.00, up from £1.80. Paying cash will cost you more too.

Paper tickets for Zones 1-6 increase to £7.00. National Rail journeys rise by 4.6%. Good news for bus users! Bus and tram fares are staying the same.

The adult fare remains £1.75. You can still use the Hopper fare. This lets you travel for an hour. The daily bus and tram cap stays at £5.25.

A weekly cap costs £24.70. Monthly costs £94.90, and yearly £988. The Cable Car price goes up as well. An adult single costs £7.

Round trips cost £13. Kids continue to pay half price.
