A 23-year-old London man was arrested for attempted murder after his car hit two pedestrians in Slough. One victim sustained life-changing injuries.

An Audi A4 went onto the pavement and hit both pedestrians around 12:30 PM. One man’s injuries are life-changing. He stayed in the hospital after the crash to recover. The other man had minor injuries, and has already left the hospital thankfully.
The police arrested the 23-year-old driver because they believe he was driving under the influence of drugs. He is currently at the police station, and the police are holding him while they investigate.
A police detective, Annabelle Palmer, spoke about the incident. She said some people might worry but ensured there’s no general threat. Police think the people knew each other.
The police are still looking into what happened, and the location will stay closed for investigation. Talk to officers there if you feel concerned about it. They encourage people to share what they saw.
