New project by Home Bargains owner may redefine Liverpool’s skyline. It is part of a large plan including 1200 apartments.

Businesses are in the area right now. Peel sold the land to KEIE Limited last April. The council agreed to lift a restriction on the site. This helps skyscraper construction. KEIE Limited works with Hugh Frost on this project, whose Beetham Organisation built the West Tower.
Plans haven’t reached the council yet. A preview image showed skyscrapers in the triangle. It was at the Liverpool Developer Forum. The image shows new buildings near Princes Dock.
Frost discussed his vision at the forum. He wants it to fit the city’s plans. He said talks are progressing well with authorities. The King Edward Triangle is one of five areas in Liverpool Waters, stretching to Everton FC’s new stadium.
Chris Capes said it will change the skyline in 2024. This proves Liverpool Waters will change the city, and the area will have tall buildings. Central Docks will also host tall buildings.
Capes said they want to move quickly and need the city to handle the pace. He knows Liverpool needs more homes. It’s also about different housing types. Apartments, townhouses, and dock-side housing are planned.
Work advances in Central Docks, and the government supports this area. Plans for homes and a park were approved in 2023. GRAHAM started the first construction phase last year.
Capes anticipates progress in Central Docks. He said TJ Morris and Beetham are eager, and they will submit plans soon. That’s very exciting for the area.
